Q. Am I required to use a new kind of accounting software?

In most instances, our clients continue to use their existing software.  One of the very unique aspects of the VirtualAccountants.com service model is that we develop solutions for our clients . . . we do not expect clients to fit into our solution or our software.  Whether you use QuickBooks or some other application; we can provide a virtual accountant to work with that application.

Q. Is my accounting data secure and how does VirtualAccountants.com ensure confidentiality?

A. Your data is more secure on our server than it is on your own desktop.  No need to worry that someone is spying on your data when you are not in the office.  VirtualAccountants.com is your personal business accountant.  No one will have access to your account except your own accountant and you!

Q. How much do the VirutalAccountants.com bookkeeping/accounting services cost?

The price is completely dependent upon the scope of services that you request.  And . . . here’s the best part, this is completely dependent upon you.  Your monthly investment will be in direct proportion to what services we perform for you.  For some businesses, we simply set up the books for your needs, reconcile the monthly statements and prepare the information for your tax preparer.  For other accounts, we function as a full scope accounting provider doing a full range of duties.  Basic costs begin at less than $200 per month.  If we were to establish a flat fee schedule, many clients would overpay.  But, because our program is customized to meet your needs, we can give you the best rate once we understand your current processes and needs.  

Q. What kind of infrastructure and systems are in place?
